A gratitude so deep, it had to become a mission.
Centre of Excellence for the Bravehearts exists for one clear purpose: to redefine empowerment for disabled soldiers, war widows, and deserving ex-servicemen of the Indian Armed Forces through research, livelihood, and inclusion.
We believe in dignity, livelihood, and research-driven impact.
Our work rests on three pillars – Enable, Engage, Elevate. We begin with research: identifying the sectors, roles, and entrepreneurial pathways where India’s disabled soldiers are not just employable, but well-equipped to excel. From there, we partner with industry to build dedicated workspaces, design training programmes aligned with those identified opportunities, and place our bravehearts in meaningful, sustainable roles that honour the service behind them. Real employment, not token gestures.
Our research extends beyond livelihood into policy advocacy on the realities, needs, and long-term welfare of India’s disabled soldiers and military families. Because lasting change demands both action on the ground and evidence that shapes policy.
Rooted in decades of grassroots engagement with military families from 1962 through Kargil till now, we carry their stories, their struggles, and their strength.
We don’t knock on doors. We build them.
Our work begins where gratitude ends, because the families of India’s bravest deserve not sympathy, but opportunity. Not handouts, but a seat at the table they helped protect.
The Centre of Excellence for the Bravehearts is committed to advancing research, livelihoods, welfare, and advocacy for India’s war widows and war-disabled veterans creating pathways to dignity, inclusion, and long-term empowerment. Through collaborative research, policy engagement, skilling initiatives, and grassroots outreach, we strive to ensure that no family that has sacrificed for the nation remains unseen, unheard, or without opportunity.
